Michael David Berglund is passionate about the purity of the Gospel as found written in the pages of the Holy Scriptures. It is Michael's desire to witness a re-awakening of a fresh reformation of the church today. Michael has had extensive ministry experience with the lay ministry, below is Michael's lay ministry resume.
Youth Leader (1990)

Michael was one of six youth chosen to assist Pastor Porter with the youth group. As a youth leader he was responsible with assisting Pastor Porter connect with the youth by interacting with them asking questions concerning how they were doing in their walk with Christ.
Led Discipleship Classes (2006)

Michael taught a Wednesday evening class concerning the basics of the Christian faith, he had the privilege until the Alpha class started. The material Michael used was a Bible study book he had written.
Sunday School Teacher (2009-2010)

Michael co-led a Sunday school class for adults for approximately nine months covering Biblical topics chosen by him and by those in the class. Michael when given the opportunity to lead the Sunday school asked one of the elders if they would be willing to help him.

Michael taught a Tuesday evening discipleship class for six weeks concerning the basics of the Christian faith, the material he used was a Bible study book he had written.
Lay Pastor / Chaplain (2012-2014)
Lynwood Golden Living Assisted Living
Michael served as a lay pastor / chaplain for two years, his duties were visiting with the residents, leading Bible studies, officiating weekly church services, memorial services, and conducting hospice visitations. Michael would minister to both the residents and family members.
Children's Ministry (2013-2014)

Michael led a Sunday school class which consisted of kindergartners and first graders, he used curriculum provided by the Children's Ministry Leadership. Michael taught this class for one school year.

Michael led a Sunday school class for adults using Pastor Marc's sermon notes while initiating conversations about what Pastor Marc was going to teach in worship service following the Sunday school class. Michael had the privilege of leading this Sunday school class until Crossroads Covenant Church changed the format.

Michael's Educational Background
Majority of Michael's education has come through learning under Pastors and his commitment to the serious study of Scripture. Michael completed two audits from North Central Bible College (now North Central University) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The classes were Systematic Theology I (1989) and Bible Study Methods (1990). Michael also completed two classes for credit from a Bible school ran by Church on Mount Zion in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. These classes were Acts of the Apostles and Spiritual Gifts Of The Church (both in 1995). Recently Michael completed two additional courses for the United Methodist Church, ConneXions (discovering your calling) October 13-15, 2017 and the Lay Speaker Training November 10-12, 2017.

* Michael cannot read the Greek or the Hebrew language, rather he uses tools to study both the languages.
